What does the OneAdvanced update mean for your practice?
Following OneAdvanced’s acquisition of the Silicon Practice business, SurgeryWeb attended its customer webinar on 3 November. Our understanding of the presentation is that existing Silicon Practice services will not be restored under the previous contracts. Practices were offered new OneAdvanced packages or the option to choose another provider.
If you need a replacement website, we can help now. We are prioritising affected practices and have already restored six practices’ web presence with complete new websites and new nhs.uk addresses, all within one working day.
That is an achieved recovery result, rather than a guaranteed turnaround for every practice. We will confirm your timing after checking your content, domain arrangements and our current capacity.

You do not need to wait for your old web address to become available before speaking to us. Existing-domain changes depend on authorised access; new nhs.uk addresses are subject to eligibility and NHS approval. We will explain the quickest available route for your practice.

Can we move to SurgeryWeb following the OneAdvanced acquisition?
Yes, we welcome affected practices. In the 3 November webinar attended by SurgeryWeb, OneAdvanced presented new packages and the option to use another provider. We can help you plan a replacement website and identify the domain arrangements needed for your move.
How quickly can you get our practice online?
We have restored six Silicon Practice customers’ web presence with complete new websites and new nhs.uk domain names within one working day. We are prioritising affected practices, but will confirm your own launch timing after reviewing content, approvals, domain arrangements and capacity.
What if OneAdvanced still controls our existing domain?
We will help establish the access or change required for that address. If it is not available promptly, we can discuss applying for a new nhs.uk address for an eligible practice. We cannot guarantee release dates for domains controlled by another provider.
What does £329 + VAT a year include?
Your NHS-template practice website, hosting, dashboard editing access, personal support and managed content updates on request. There is a one-off setup fee of £100 + VAT, making the first year £429 + VAT. Separate online consultation software and telephony licences are not included.
Can we keep our chosen online consultation provider?
Yes. Your SurgeryWeb website can link to your chosen online consultation service. You arrange that clinical service separately with its provider. Rebuilding the website does not recover previous FootFall submissions or restore FootFall’s clinical functionality.
Do we need to have a copy of our old website?
Tell us what you have, even if your old website is inaccessible. We can discuss available content sources and the essential information needed for a replacement. Your practice will need to verify the accuracy of the content before launch.
Will our website automatically pass the NHS benchmarking tool?
The template is designed around the tool and supports the majority of its criteria, with content sections that help you place information appropriately. A final assessment depends on your practice’s content and linked services, so we do not promise a fixed audit score.
