Display Social Media Links & CQC Badge on Mobile Devices

In the header of your website on a desktop computer you will see the icons for your social media platforms and also your CQC badge (if you are ‘good’ or ‘outstanding’, no badge present for lesser ratings). But on mobile devices, these are hidden. The reason they are hidden is to minimise the number of items in the header on a small screen, reducing the amount of scrolling the user has to do to reach the main page content.

But if you do want to display them because perhaps you are trying to promote your Practices Facebook page, or you want to show off a new ‘Outstanding’ CQC rating then you can make them visible via your dashboard.

Navigate to “Global Settings > Template Settings” in your dashboard.

Toggle the ‘Display Social Icons and CQC Badge on Mobile’ switch to ‘Show’.

Finally click ‘Publish’ on the right hand side of your settings screen to save your changes. Your icons and badge will now be displayed in the header of your website on a mobile device.
